Become a Certified A.L.I.V.E. Active Shooter Training Instructor
If you want to teach the proven ALIVE active shooter survival method in your workplace, school district, security firm, or community, the ALIVE Instructor Certification Course is the path. Certified instructors are the backbone of how the ALIVE program scales - every business, school, hospital, and house of worship that runs in-person active shooter survival training needs a qualified, accountable instructor leading the room.
The instructor certification course teaches both the curriculum and the teach-back methodology: how to deliver classroom content, design realistic scenario drills, manage participants of different physical abilities, debrief professionally, and answer hard questions about active shooter response. Graduates also learn how the program aligns with OSHA, California SB 553 workplace violence prevention training, and state-level requirements like Pennsylvania Act 55 and Tennessee security guard training mandates.
Who Becomes an ALIVE Instructor?
Past graduates include private security executives, school resource officers, corporate safety directors, HR leaders, retired law enforcement, and entrepreneurs building a workplace violence prevention training business. To start, complete the instructor certification course request form and our team will guide you through prerequisites, schedule, and pricing.

"As a retired 32 year law enforcement veteran, with several years of SWAT and tactical experience, I learned some different unique perspectives as it pertains to civilians dealing with active threat situations. Very good class for civilians who may have never experienced reacting to a life and death stressful situation."
