Michael Julian Hits Costa Mesa With A.L.I.V.E. Active Shooter Survival Training

MURRIETA, CA – Security Industry Expert Michael Julian of MPS Security, based out of southern Calif., will conduct
his renowned A.L.I.V.E. active shooter survival training in Costa Mesa, Calif. on Tuesday, September 11, at 5 p.m.
With an increasing amount of active shooter tragedies in the United States, it is crucial to know what to do if ever
found in a situation like this.
Michael is presenting to ACG corporate leaders, who are past, present and future “award winners” for exceptional
growth, corporate citizenship, and more in the corporate arena. They’re on the C-suite level and occupy CEO, COO,
CFO, and board member positions.
“Active shooter training is something that’s becoming as normal as an earthquake or fire drill training,” said Michael
Julian, security expert at MPS Security. “This year alone there have been nearly 300 active shooter situations in our
country and the number is only continuing to grow. Did you know that there are life altering steps you can take
within the first 10 seconds of an active shooter that can keep you alive? Knowing what to do in this situation can
save lives.”
Michael is a national instructor, a recognized expert in the security industry and author of a newly released book
called 10 Minutes to Live, where he shares how essential the appropriate actions taken in the first 10 minutes of an
active shooter event can be for survival.
The A.L.I.V.E. training is a 2-hour workshop designed to educate, inform and prepare
individuals who may come in contact with an active shooter. With increasing public violence employees and
civilians are being vigilant about potential threats that they may come in contact with. According to the United
States Department of Labor, Occupational Safety & Health Administration, nearly two million American workers
report having been victims of workplace violence each year. Many additional cases are never reported. Between
disgruntled employees, hateful defiance and unstable individuals, violence continues to be an on-going theme in
the media. While the arguments of increased gun control laws and second amendment rights are top of mind for
Americans, being proactive and prepared is necessary.
The September 11th ACG A.L.I.V.E. Active Shooter Survival Training will be held at the Irvine Spectrum
(200 Spectrum Center Dr., #300, Irvine, CA 92618).
